Hey zachary, no i promise i have not forgoten about you i've just been very busy lately but i'd bet you already knew that ;) I miss you so much I'm sure! i still have cried almost ever day since u left us here n went to a better place... sometimes i dont know if its tears of joy from knowing such an amazing person like you or tears of sadness not having been able to spend more time with you??? Pretty sure its a large mixture of both... i miss everyone getting together at your house, playing music and spendin time with the family... it made me feel soo close to you but thank god anytime i wanna (or find the time to) see you or your family your only seconds away! everytime i get on here to write somethin to you i can never think of all the things i think about daily just driving or listening to music... I hope you know how much i really do think about you... its crazy i think about you more than anyone else in my life, just wondering what could've been?? I wish everyone would just stop fucken doin these fucken drugs that could or will kill them, it hurts so bad to see them all fade away... help to keep them strong zach as you do for me! Well i love you and its time for me to get some rest i got skewl n work tomorrow* Rest easy warrior :)

Man i cant believe its been 6 months since you've been gone.

It kills me you were like a brother to me and always will be when we all lost you it like i lost a piece of my self. Remember that time we camped at your house when we were little we had the tent and you stole some alchohol from somewhere? We played hide and go seek and i ended up jumping in the creek so you guys couldnt find me? i was wet the whole night lol. I just wish i could talk to you one last time i really do you were my best-friend and the only one i could tell anything to and knew you wouldnt tell other people. We did some much crazy shit when we were younger smoked so much green :). Remember when we all went down to the "rich" district and stole skateboards? i ended up getting busted and your mom said it ended up at ur house and u had to give it back. sry bout that man. I just cant wait to be up there with u man kickin like we used to. Everytime i see a full moon i think about you becuase when you first passed we had a full moon for like 3 days. I know your watching over me and all of your good friends and family. I talk to you all the time i just wish i could just hear your voice one more time and tell me its all gonna be good and i know its not.

Well Zach its been 6 months since you've been gone. I can't believe it. Seems like yesterday you were here hanging out in your room, on the phone. Making plans to chill with someone or go somewhere. I can still see you in there when I look - its only in my head but I can see you. God I pray those images never go away. I miss you so bad. It's just not getting better and it never will. Tomorrow will be one year ago that grampa died. And 13 days later on the 21st, will be one year for grandma. This week "Bake" and Jim Bishop joined you up there. Everybody is leaving ... one by one. It really must be an awesome place up there in heaven. I love you with all my heart and soul.

Zach's Mom

The worst day of my life was February 7th 2009. The events of that day are foggy but clear enough to haunt me the rest of my days on this miserable earth. There is nothing worse than "that" phone call. Then arriving and holding your child - it doesn't matter their age - that's your baby. Their body is cold and skin is blue. No life left in them, nothing you can do can bring someone back that is more important to you than life itself. You have to live the rest of your life not knowing ... anything about where they are, if their okay ... or if they need you. And if they did need you, you can't help them. It is the worst torment.

Please read this and share this with everyone you know. Being aware of danger signs could save someone's life.

WHAT DO YOU DO IF YOU THINK YOUR FRIEND IS IN DANGER OF AN OVERDOSE?
(REAL WORLD)

Whether it’s Vicodine, Morphine, Oxycotin, Methadone, etc. there can be serious and deadly consequences. Some drugs build up in your system and you can overdose at anytime.

Slow breathing (respiratory depression), seizures, dizziness, weakness, loss of consciousness, coma, confusion, tiredness, COLD and CLAMMY SKIN, Small PUPILS, reduced vision, nausea vomiting, clouding of mental functions (acting stupid)

Some of the symptoms may be:

**Pinpoint pupils
**Respiratory depression- Normal respirations are around 12-20 times/minute.

If your friend is breathing less than 10 times in a minute, they could be in serious trouble. Loud snoring or gurgling means you need to get help NOW!

Confusion
Drowsiness
Mood changes
Clouding of mental function- they are acting 'stupid'
Reduced vision (blurry)
apathy- feelings of 'they just don't care about anything'
decreased physical activity
constipation
nausea
vomiting

(1) More than likely, you KNOW what your friend has taken. Do NOT just help him get home and not say anything to his parents.  Your friend could go to sleep and NOT WAKE UP!

(2) Alot of the above symptoms will make you think he's just drunk but be honest with your friend's parents.  If you think your friend took something else, then let them know. He may be in trouble in the morning, but at least he will be alive. That may even be the beginning of his getting the help that he needs to stop using drugs.

(3) What if letting the parents know is out? Take him home then have someone make an anonymous call or tell a 3rd party to tell parents if you have to. Call 911 anonymously. Do whatever it takes to get them help as soon as possible. You can leave before the authorities get on the scene. Stay as long as you can to provide first aid.

A.  Watch your friend closely. If his respirations start to decrease to less than 10 in a minute, then he probably needs medical attention before his  body starts to react to decreased oxygen levels. If you don't get enough oxygen, you could suffer irreversible brain damage, go into respiratory arrest (just stop breathing) or could have a heart attack. CALL 911. While you are waiting for an ambulance if your friend is still breathing and you can get him to respond to you, try calling his name.  Make him wake up and talk to you.  Don't let him go to sleep. He will probably get irritated
with you, but do whatever you have to do.  You may want to try shaking him to rouse him. KEEP HIM AWAKE AND TALKING if you can. If you take your friend yourself to the hospital then many times the police are never notified of the incident. USE your head especially if respirations are decreasing, better to call 911 then go to a funeral or visit your friend while he lays in a COMA.

B.  If you can't keep him awake and talking. WATCH HIS BREATHING.  If he stops breathing (and has a pulse), begin rescue breathing- 1 breath every 5 seconds. (COUNT- one, one thousand, two, one thousand, three, one thousand, four one thousand, breath one thousand.) Watch the chest and make sure it is rising  and falling.  (that tells you that your air is going in & coming out).  If it's not try repositioning his head.  Check and make sure he has a pulse after 1 minute of rescue breathing.  If he doesn't have a pulse, START CPR.  If he does, continue rescue breathing.  Keep doing this until EMS arrives.

Overdose is a serious thing that may require hospitalization.  Sometimes the person needs to be temporarily hooked to a ventilator to help him breathe until the drug wears off.  Most people who are 'hooked' on these drugs need professional help to stop using it. If you or your friends are using it, please get help and stop.  You are playing RUSSIAN ROULETTE with your life.

Remember Methadone only

Takes ONE PILL or ONE DOSE

TO KILL

a non or low opiate tolerant person
