Happy Birthday son! I love and miss you like crazy! Well of course we had a party for you like we do every year. Sorry there wasn't more balloons ... people didn't follow instructions LOL. But anyway we did something different for your party this year. We all met at Monkey's Tap to have a birthday drink for you. As always your friends are very dedicated to you and we had a bar full of people. Scoob was drinking shots with Mogley...for his birthday of course. Jeff and Wendy showed up and Jeff got your dad very drunk LOL. Lynzy and Jess were wihite girl wasted! Ryan Schlitter was drinking water and pop - he is cleaning himself up and I hope he sticks to it this time. Ryan Franklin and Ian had a good time. Of course Kaitlyn was there looking beautiful as ever. Tammy and Hershel were playing pool with Jason Ramsey. Evidently today, most people dont remember shit LOL. I'm going to post some pics and Facebook comments...there is no better way to describe your birthday party :)

Hi baby. Here we are again on the eve of that horrible day I dread every year. I'm still missing you, still feeling like I'm living in a fog physically and emotionally. I've tried everything to get back to normal. I guess their is no such thing anymore. It still hurts so fuckin much .... i cant stand it. I've told God many times I'm ready to go now, please remind him. I dont believe there is any great thing that I am on this earth to accomplish, I can't seem to accomplish even the smallest of tasks. Like I told you 4 years ago today, I love you! Always have and always will. I hope you are in my dreams tonight, usually they are nightmares but I miss you so much I'll take whatever I can get.

Sorry babe, I sent you a Merry Christmas on Facebook and forgot to put one on here. As usual there were very important people missing from the holiday but we got through it again. We did have Grandma and Grampa Sipes this year and that was nice. Your neice and nephew were happy with their gifts and Brooklyn gave me a hug and kiss for each one - she is so sweet. Steven Jr. asked for a necklace with your picture on it because he didn't have anything with your picture. Of course I got him one and he immediately put it on. I found out that he had been wearing your sisters necklace. So he really liked it. He is really growing up. Your dog opened all his presents and then tried to open others :) you know how he is. Kiesha made me a very nice scrapbook with all your pictures, its very nice and I had to hold back the tears. I will treasure it forever. Monday Grandma and Grampa headed back to Wisconsin, before they left we went to the cemetary so they could say hi and see your stone. Grandma kinda broke down a little. So that was about it, we got through it. I'm sure you noticed I put the tree up for you (although I took it down tonight). Its still a very difficult and depressing time for me. And of course you have your little tree up on your stone - keep it lit like last year! I love you son!

Been thinking alot about you. Its almost Christmas 2011. Not a dayy has passed that I dont ever think about you. I cant help but remember all the great times we had && even the bad ones. Your my guardian angel Zach. I know you'll always be here for me just like you were back when you were here. Tho theyy same time will heal everyything it's been almost 3 long years && I still cant seem to get over it. Everyydayy I look at my son && I know how precious life really is. You taught me that. He's named after you. Not manyy people know or realize that til I point it out. Zaylan Anthony-Charles Ruiz. His initials spell out Z.A.C.(R). There's a reason I did that. You'll always be the love of my life. You'll always have a big place in my heart. No on will ever replace the feelings you've blessed me with. Im so grateful to have the chance to spend time with you && love you while you were with us. I know your still with us. I talk to your mom && sister about these things all the time. I teared up tonight tho. It never gets easier, but your mother told me not to cryy because you wouldnt want that. I know she's right. You always hated it when I cried. I can not wait til the dayy Im with you again, but until that time comes I will treasure everyy second Im here with the ones I love && care for. Lifes short, so I need to make the best of it.
